
Stefan Georgiev
Stefan Georgiev is a seasoned musician, performer, and educator with a diverse background in percussion, piano, and accordion. Born in Varna, Bulgaria, Stefan developed a strong musical foundation early in life, studying a variety of instruments and embracing a broad musical perspective that continues to inform his teaching and performance style today.
Throughout his career, Stefan has built a reputation for versatility and artistic depth. With many years of professional experience, he has collaborated with numerous respected artists and has released four albums featuring a mix of original compositions and dynamic ensemble performances. His work spans a wide range of styles, from jazz and rock to world music, showcasing both technical precision and rhythmic creativity.
In 2010, Stefan formed a musical trio, which brought his music to international audiences. The group toured extensively, performing in Belgium, Norway, Scotland, Germany, and other European countries. These performances not only highlighted Stefan’s drumming talent but also reinforced his commitment to cultural exchange and musical exploration.
Since relocating to Cyprus in 2014, Stefan has been an integral part of the island’s music education community. He joined the Music Academy ‘Aspa Vasiliou’ in Paphos as a drum instructor, where he continues to inspire and educate a new generation of musicians. His teaching combines structure with creativity, emphasizing both technical foundation and musical expression.
Known for his energetic and engaging approach, Stefan works with students of all ages and skill levels—helping beginners find their rhythm, guiding intermediate players to develop confidence and technique, and challenging advanced students to push their boundaries. He believes in making music education exciting and accessible, and he brings real-world performance experience into every lesson.
