
Georgiana Ioannou
Georgiana is a passionate and dedicated music educator with a strong foundation in classroom management, student engagement, and curriculum implementation. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Music, with a specialization in Voice and Choir Conducting from the University of Newcastle, and is currently advancing her expertise through a Master’s degree in International Education at the University of Leicester.
Her professional experience includes roles as a Classroom Manager and Teaching Assistant, where she cultivated nurturing, structured, and inclusive learning environments. Georgiana is especially skilled in promoting positive behavior, supporting the delivery of engaging lessons, and adapting strategies to meet the diverse needs of young learners.
Her commitment to inclusive education is further demonstrated through specialized training and certifications in areas such as Special Educational Needs Coordination (SENCO), Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC), and Working with Students with Special Educational Needs, completed through Alison. These qualifications reflect her drive to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of background or ability.
With a strong belief in lifelong learning and reflective practice, Georgiana continuously seeks to improve her methods and broaden her knowledge. She aspires to contribute meaningfully to educational settings that embrace creativity, inclusivity, and student-centered learning, empowering learners to reach their full potential.
As an educator, Aspa has worked with hundreds of students, teaching piano, choir, and preschool music. She is known for her ability to connect with students of all ages and learning styles, creating structured yet joyful lessons that build strong technical foundations while encouraging creativity. Many of her students have gone on to achieve high results in performances and competitions, and she has proudly guided them through concert appearances, festivals, and collaborative events.
In 2010, she established Music Academy ‘Aspa Vasiliou’, fulfilling a long-held vision of creating a nurturing and professional space for musical learning in Paphos. Under her leadership, the academy has grown into a vibrant community of students and educators, offering instruction in a wide range of instruments and disciplines.
Aspa continues to teach piano and oversee the academy’s educational programs, working closely with both students and instructors to ensure the highest standard of musical development. Her passion, vision, and commitment to excellence remain at the heart of everything the academy offers.
