Aspa Vasiliou is the founder and driving force behind Music Academy ‘Aspa Vasiliou’ in Paphos, Cyprus. With over two decades of teaching experience, she has dedicated her life to nurturing musical talent and creating a space where students of all ages can grow, express themselves, and connect through music.

Aspa began her musical journey at the age of nine, studying piano and theory at the local Greek Music Conservatory. Her early love for music quickly evolved into a lifelong passion for both performance and education. She pursued higher studies in the United States, earning her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education and Piano from Ball State University, Indiana, where she immersed herself in pedagogical training and performance.

Aspa continued her academic development in the United Kingdom, earning a Master’s degree in Music with a focus on Piano Pedagogy from Kingston University, London. Her advanced studies provided her with deep insight into educational methods, child development, and curriculum design—skills that have shaped her unique approach to teaching and running a music academy.

As an educator, Aspa has worked with hundreds of students, teaching piano, choir, and preschool music. She is known for her ability to connect with students of all ages and learning styles, creating structured yet joyful lessons that build strong technical foundations while encouraging creativity. Many of her students have gone on to achieve high results in performances and competitions, and she has proudly guided them through concert appearances, festivals, and collaborative events.

In 2010, she established Music Academy ‘Aspa Vasiliou’, fulfilling a long-held vision of creating a nurturing and professional space for musical learning in Paphos. Under her leadership, the academy has grown into a vibrant community of students and educators, offering instruction in a wide range of instruments and disciplines.

Aspa continues to teach piano and oversee the academy’s educational programs, working closely with both students and instructors to ensure the highest standard of musical development. Her passion, vision, and commitment to excellence remain at the heart of everything the academy offers.
