Andreas Marinou is a Cypriot pianist and composer from Limassol, born in 2001. He began studying music at the age of 14 and was selected in 2020 as the sole pianist of the Cyprus National Guard Military Band. He has performed in Cyprus and abroad and has appeared as soloist with the Sinfonietta Orchestra of Athens. An award-winning pianist at international competitions, he is also an active composer whose works have been performed across Europe. He graduated with distinction and First Prize award for the highest graduation grade from the University of Macedonia. Deeply passionate about music education, he is dedicated to sharing his knowledge and inspiring the next generation of musicians. In 2025, he gave the world premiere of Solon Michaelides’ Concertino for Solo Piano and Orchestra with the Limassol Symphony Orchestra.
