Adele Daunoraviciute-Svobodina
Adele Daunoraviciute-Svobodina is an internationally recognized pianist and educator whose career has spanned Europe and beyond. Born in Klaipeda, Lithuania in 1991, Adele showed exceptional musical promise from a young age. She pursued formal piano studies under the guidance of Professor Tatjana Romashkina (Svobodina) at the Art Faculty of Klaipeda University, where she laid the foundation for what would become an award-winning career.
Adele holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education with a specialization in piano performance. In 2016, she earned her Master’s of Music in Piano Performance, further refining her technique, interpretation, and artistry. Throughout her academic journey, Adele sought out advanced training and participated in masterclasses with renowned international musicians including Petras Geniusas, Walter Groppenberger, Ksenia Knorre, Vladimir Slobodian, and many others—each of whom contributed to her broad and refined musical perspective.
Her dedication and talent have earned her numerous accolades in international piano competitions across Lithuania, Italy, Austria, Finland, France, Russia, Portugal, and the United States. Among her most distinguished honors are five presidential awards for exceptional achievements in music, presented personally by the President of Lithuania, Dalia Grybauskaitė. These awards recognize not only her skill as a pianist, but also her role as a cultural ambassador for her country through music.
In addition to her performance career, Adele is a passionate educator. Before relocating to Cyprus, she taught at two of Lithuania’s most respected music institutions—Klaipeda J. Karosas Music School and Palanga S. Vainiūnas Music School—where she worked both as a piano teacher and accompanist. Her work in these schools gave her deep experience in training young musicians, preparing them for performances, competitions, and entrance into higher music studies.
Upon moving to Cyprus, Adele continued to share her musical expertise with students, teaching at Novia Mavromoustaki School of Music in Limassol. She has since become a valued member of Music Academy ‘Aspa Vasiliou’ in Paphos, where she continues to inspire and mentor students of all ages.
Adele is known for her disciplined yet warm teaching approach. She brings to each lesson her vast performance experience, technical excellence, and a belief in nurturing not only musical skills but also personal growth and self-expression. Her students benefit from a rich, international perspective, a high standard of excellence, and a sincere commitment to their development as both pianists and artists.
