The Instructors
Nina Ioannidou
Nina Ioannidou studied Piano Performance at V.I. Safonov Music College in Russia and later earned a piano diploma in Greece. A prizewinner in Panhellenic competitions, she has accompanied choirs and performed in ensembles. Based in Cyprus since 2008, she has taught piano at Music Academy Aspa Vasiliou since 2015.
Adele Daunoraviciute-Svobodina
Adele Daunoraviciute-Svobodina, a Lithuanian pianist, holds a Master’s in Piano Performance and multiple international awards. She’s studied with renowned professors and earned five presidential honors. Formerly teaching in Lithuania, she now teaches in Cyprus, including at Music Academy Aspa Vasiliou, continuing her work as a performer, teacher, and accompanist.
Stefan Georgiev
Stefan Georgiev, born in Varna, is a seasoned musician skilled in accordion, piano, and drums. He’s released four albums and toured internationally with his trio. Since 2014, he has taught drums at Music Academy Aspa Vasiliou in Cyprus, inspiring young musicians through his broad performance and teaching experience.
Ioannis Chatzinikolaou
Ioannis Chatzinikolaou, a flutist from Volos, Greece, studied at the Municipal Conservatory of Volos, graduating with honors. He’s performed in philharmonic and symphonic orchestras across Greece and Cyprus. Since 2008, he’s lived in Cyprus, teaching flute and performing in classical, traditional, and contemporary music, including recordings and theater productions.
Aspa Vasiliou
Aspa Vasiliou began piano studies at age nine and later earned degrees in Music Education and Piano Pedagogy from Ball State University (USA) and Kingston University (UK). Founder of Music Academy Aspa Vasiliou, she has over 20 years’ teaching experience, guiding students to success in concerts, competitions, and music education.
